Abele 1757 Brut Champagne

Radiant and richly layered, the non-vintage Abelé 1757 Brut Champagne exemplifies the art of classic Champagne blending. Elegant and expressive, it delivers a refined balance of sweet spice, red fruit, and floral brightness—timeless and captivating.

Origins & Craftsmanship

  • Historic Roots: Founded in 1757, Abelé is the fifth oldest Champagne house, located in the Reims region and deeply rooted in tradition, artistry, and terroir.

  • Blend & Composition: Composed of 40% Chardonnay, 35% Pinot Noir, and 25% Meunier, including approximately 15% reserve wines.

  • Aging & Terroir: Aged over a minimum of 3–4 years in century-old cellars, sheltered from light and temperature fluctuations to build complexity and finesse.

Tasting Profile

  • Appearance: Deep, satin-sheened bright gold with bronze highlights. The bead is lively, creating a fine stream of poised bubbles.

  • Aroma: Delicate and rich—think chocolate, dark berries, and sweet spices, entwined with floral notes like jasmine, honeysuckle, and hawthorn.

  • Palate: Broad and mature on first taste, layering flavors of acacia honey, almonds, and red berries. Ends with a refreshing touch of currant and elderberry.

  • Finish: Crisp, citrusy, and dry—bright yet elegantly refreshing.
